If student can’t request for counselling through student portal because you don’t give access to them, student would have to make an over-the-counter counselling request. When a student comes to you and asks for counselling, you can record their request through staff portal.



Add Counselling Request


  1. Go to the navigation bar located on the left side of the screen and navigate to Student Affairs > Counselling Requests
  2. Click Add New
  3. In the Student field, select the student name
  4. In the Date field, select the date of the counselling appointment
  5. In the Mode field, select the counselling mode
  6. In the Type field, select the type of counselling
  7. In the Description field, enter the description
  8. In the Note field, add notes
  9. In the Remarks field, add remarks
  10. In the Status field, select the status of the request
  11. In the Counsellor field, select the counsellor for the counselling session
  12. Click Save

Reject Counselling Request


  1. Go to the navigation bar located on the left side of the screen and navigate to Student Affairs > Counselling Requests
  2. Click Reject
  3. On delete confirmation prompt, click Delete


Update and Approve Counselling Request


  1. Go to the navigation bar located on the left side of the screen and navigate to Student Affairs > Counselling Requests
  2. Click Accept and Update
  3. Set Approvals slider to Approve
  4. Update the required fields
  5. Click Save
